The Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU) and the Center for Civil Liberties (CCL) sent a delegation of volunteers to institutions in and around Odessa, where internally displaced children from the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine found shelter.
The goal of this monitoring visit was to assess the general conditions under which the children live in these institutions and in how far there have been cases of abuse or violence.
