Ukrainian NGO Krim SOS investigated the social status of internally displaced people from the conflict areas in eastern Ukraine. After hearing about IDPs confronted with stigmatization and discrimination, more than 900 people from 5 places were interviewed between January 16th and March 7th. At the same time, a media monitoring concerning the subject was conducted.

It seems that the general attitude towards IDPs ranges from friendly to neutral, but in certain cases, they suffer from circulating stereotypes or being blamed for economic issues in the areas they came to.
