The pro-Kiev “Aidar” Battalion is accused of severe war crimes and other crimes committed in the north of Luhansk region. Amnesty International did an investigation about cases of abduction, ill-treatment of prisoners, torture, abuse, unlawful detentions and even murder in the last half of August 2014.
In conclusion, the Aidar Battallion seems to operate in a lawless environment with no control whatsoever.
